Description

Fully tested + working APC line interactive XL rated UPS. High duty cycle pure sine wave inverter and battery charger - perfect for DIY inverter projects using 24 volt batteries.

This unit comes with the internal RBC 7 battery installed, and will work immediately on plugging in. You do not need to add an external battery pack, but the option is there if you want to expand / integrate with a larger battery bank in the future. Used unit and signs of previous use should be expected. The photos are the APC stock photos and represent a new unit. We have included a picture of a 700VA cream unit which shows the extra fuse and DC link cable we supply for you to hook up your cells with. These 750XL UPS are all black in colour.

This is an XL unit meaning that it is designed to accept extra battery packs externally via a rear mounted Anderson power pole connector. Many components have been uprated and re-designed to accomadate the extra load that more cells place both on the charger and the inverter. Because of this it can run at a 100% duty cycle from large battery banks. If mains power is present it has the ability to charge a large battery bank (a standard 1000VA APC would blow its battery charger and inverter in short order under these circumstances).

This is a 24V battery system, which is very useful for people who are engineering their own power solutions with windmills, water wheels and solar pannels.

We supply the anderson connector that plugs into the battery port on the back of the UPS, and also a 100A fuse shown so that you can safely wire your own external 24V battery pack. 1x Input cable and 1x output cable included.

Accepts AP9617 AP9618 and AP 9606 network management cards (See our other listings for these).

Our suggested upper limit of battery capacity is 2500 VAH of cells. We warrant the UPS for 7 days (return to base) which is to give you time to perform initial tests on the unit. We do not provide 12 month warranties on these items as we are not in control of the battery options which they can be used in conjunction with.

We have tested the UPS in our workshop before dispatch. It is fully working, and you are purchasing from a UPS specialist.
