This is an XL UPS with a 48 volt DC battery system. Additional cells can be added via the rear connector. We can supply the appropriate cable to connect external cells for £5 (please ask when ordering). Pure sine wave inversion. Because it is an XL unit it can be run with a large external battery bank or on a 100% inversion duty cycle which is very handy for DIY projects. Past customers have used for 24 hour backup to lighthouses and longer periods for wireless repeater stations.
