We are selling these cheaply. They are obviously great for racks, but also given the £/VA value they provide can be considered for other jobs. They can be stood in any orientation, but keep space free around the front and rear for ventilation. The units do have fans which are constantly on (needed for ventilation in the small case), but they do switch off when the case is not hot / power over 75% / running from battery. I'd say the fan noise is moderate - it wont fit in a silent office, but in our workshop its drowned out by other noise.
