They have a mechanical contactor, and have a built in preference to source A.

The LED's on the source lights are VERY DIM. I can see them if I cup my hands around the green neon indicator windows, but it is not instantly apparent from a distance. This does not affect function, and I've noted it across lots of this type of ATS from both Olson and Riello / MGE
