RBC17 battery kit (1x 9AH cells) for BX950ui

Use with your existing wiring.

APC made this UPS without giving easy access to the cells (!). It is a medium level pain to get to the cells.

We made this duplicate listing for the RBC17 so we could provide photos of how to swap the battery.

We include the photos of how to access a BX1400, the process is simlar for this 950.

1/ Remove 4x screws on the rear

2/ Remove front, note the location of the pressure tabs you will need to release. See our pic

3/ Undo the 3x screws now revealed under the front.

4/ Separate the main chassis noting the retainer tab outlined in red in about the middle of the length.

5/ Replace batteries

6/ Re assemble and reward cup of tea, thank you for not throwing something away that can easily be given new life.
