This 2U rack-mountable, line-interactive UPS has had new 9A/H cells fitted, is fully tested and working, and carries our 12-month RTB warranty.
As you can see from the photos, the front plastic fascia is missing. The fascia is purely a cosmetic item and doesn't affect the functionality of the UPS. The missing fascia has been heavily reflected in the super-low price.

Ready to install and use on delivery, this refurbished UPS comes together with 1x mains input cable and 2x C13-14 output cables.
This is the revised unit that has the in-built RJ45 data port for the web comms system called "Smart Connect".
APC Smart Connect compatible UPS have an inbuilt RJ45 networking port to connect to your network, so they can signal to the APC EcoStruxture cloud.
You can then monitor the UPS of all the UPS that you own, and their statuses, from one place (APC site). It also can send you and your service partner (you can use our email address if you want us to be your service partner, but it can be any APC provider) when the UPS has a fault, or a life-cycle warning like cell replacement coming up.
You do not need to do any of the above for the UPS to work. It will function as a UPS just fine. We have sold double figures of these, and so far have only had to do the above process once

Because the UPS we sell are second hand there is a chance that the ID associated with the UPS is registered elsewhere. So far we are finding most of the units are not registered and you can just link to your own account on arrival. APC have realised this will happen, and have a process in place to handle it - if the UPS is registered elsewhere you can contact APC to change the link to your own account.
Its best to have an APC account set up (ie a set of credentials that you can use to log into the APC site to move the smartconnect unit onto.
The case can be started by phone 08002799254
or online http://www.apc.com/uk/en/support/contact/ask_apc.cfm
You should have to hand:
1/ Our invoice (they require proof of purchase),
2/ Photo of your UPS serial number sticker,
3/ Photo of the SmartConnect QR code and ID/Key sticker,
4/ Photo of the UPS LCD panel showing the “about info” including the MAC address,
5/ The eMail address that you use to log into the APC site (works as your account name)
APC will then delete the existing connection and assign it to your email/account name. If you get stuck email us. We toyed with the idea of doing this process for each UPS to register them to ourselves before shipping them out, but given the majority of the SmartConnect UPS so far have been unregistered, its best to leave them unregistered for the simplest set up customer side.
The UPS can be used without setting up smart connect at all.
No customer reviews for the moment.
