This is a brand new battery, with recent date code.
Designed for use in cyclic, high power discharge applications. Examples mobility scooters, golf caddies, cell stores for Solar power systems, torches etc.

It is a fully sealed AGM (absorptive glass mat) cell. This is a more modern design that replaces the wet/flooded cell design and is a safety improvement. The cell is fully sealed, and can be used in any orientation, though if you have a choice then siting with the terminals on top makes the most sense.
