The input power cable is not normally included (the same as when provided from the manufacturer) because they are often hard wired, or have a particular plug target. If you email us with the type of plug you intend to connect to we'll see if we have a spare lying around to supply free of charge. We can also wire a test lead rated at 10 amps. Same for the output cable, we may have spares or PDU that we can include with the UPS free of charge.

** We have the rackmount ears, but not enough for all units. If you intend to rack mount let us know and we will include these free of charge. If we run out we will make aluminium ears and include those. **




We include the network card, which we reset to a known IP and login credentials. These cards cannot use a DHCP handshake to get an IP, so we will set to something and note that down, or if you email to let us know the IP/SNM/GW details when you order we will set the card to your preferences. It has a simple web interface that contains all the pertinent information.
Input voltage / Load level / battery level / output voltage / battery voltage / runtime / and status on / on battery / bypass / overloaded etc.

The UPS can be cold started. You can set the output voltage and frequency (220/230/240VAC) (50/60 Hz) from the front interface. This means that the UPS can be used as a voltage and frequency converter.

The UPS is Riello's top of the range design. Its pure sine wave and online/double conversion type. It can also be set to run as a line interactive type to have lower parasitic drain (higher efficiency). They came from a client that needed RFID tags on all gear, and a separate easily visible on/off switch. I thought to remove these but that would leave holes in the front plastics, so have left them on. Some people may even find the second switch of use.

The UPS came without the batter packs that are normally paired with them. There are no cells inside the UPS power module, and it needs a cell pack to work. We have modified another manufacturer's (APC) battery pack system to work with this UPS. The internals are re-worked and we change the output cable to be the native type for Riello. We use 4 fuses internally, and have an isolation plug on the front. When this is removed the battery pack is inert and safe.

The battery pack is built by us and has new cells (20x 12V SLA cells).
The runtime we have seen when testing is:
